Brief Description:The Wydaho Ski and Bike Tours will have two branches of operations, lodging and mountain, which will define the structure of how things will function in the business. For both of these categories, it is important to have a trusted group of employees and equipment. Having an organized structure of how each employee will perform tasks will be an important part to our success. Details such as pay procedures, benefits, and incentives will assure the best work environment for the company.
Mountain Operations During the winter, the snow cat will bring customers to different areas of our property to ski. The summer will run the same, using a cargo van instead. Skiers and bikers will be able to ride in their areas of their choice and/or ability level. They will be accompanied by a guide, who will accompany them and bring them through the terrain. It is important that the customers feel they are in a safe, yet enjoyable environment. We want to develop a relationship with the people in order to enhance their experience. Equipment Needed: Cat/Van for transportation, avalanche safety equipment, skis/snowboards/bikes, park building equipment (tractors, diggers, etc.) Employees: Cat/Van driver, backcountry guides, mechanic, and possibly a photographer and park builder. Lodge Operations The property lodge will be large enough to sleep guests and comfortable enough to provide them with food and beverages during their stay. We want our customers to come back to a relaxed setting after a day of biking or skiing. In an ideal world, we will provide everyone with comfortable living space in a setting that makes them feel right at home. The lodge will also provide a dinner that is suitable. A few different forms of entertainment could also be a part of the stay. Hospitality will be a key part in getting customers to having a great stay, and possibly come back in the future.
